Landscape

The Landscape Committee will be responsible for developing landscape plans for the common areas and obtaining and evaluating bids for services necessary to maintain and beautify these areas. Also, the committee will insure that all equipment and irrigation systems are maintained and not creating a hazard during freezing weather.

At the January 2006 BODs meeting, the Board agreed to renew GrassCutters of West Cobb since they did a fantastic job in 2005. The front entrance has never looked better since the new trees, plantings, sod and extended irrigation system. By the way, in case you didn't know, our landscaper is (Chris Duet & his son, Chris who live right next door to the clubhouse). Now you can tell Chris directly how good a job he's doing on the front entrance and pool area.

Landscape committee still would like to explore the possibility of building a wood deck and pavilion area next to the swimming pool that could be used to increase the useful space at the pool and provide an area where cooking on a grill would be an option. This is a long-term assignment since designs will need to be drafted and monies budgeted and approved by the membership.
